Have you ever called out to a goddess in your dreams — and felt her answer? Back in July, I reached out to Hecate, the ancient goddess of magic, witchcraft, and the crossroads, asking her to visit me in my sleep. What followed was one of the most vivid and symbolic dreams I’ve ever experienced — a dream that felt less like imagination and more like a message.

Before going to bed, I softly whispered an invocation to invite her presence.

“Open my ears, that I may hear your whisper. Open my mouth, that I may speak the truth without resistance. Open my eye, that I may see you and the path before me.”

As I drifted toward what felt like a theta state, I focused on my third eye, visualizing a violet sphere of light deep within my pineal gland that glowed outward toward my brow. That’s when I felt — and somehow heard — her presence. It was as if Hecate herself was whispering softly in both ears at once, a voice that was more vibration than sound. Thanks for reading! I stood at an ornate bronze or copper threshold — maybe a doorway, perhaps a portal — inscribed with Greek letters I couldn’t fully make out. I remember fragments: T, PHER, and a word that looked or sounded like flamic or flamica. Torches burned on either side, casting a warm, flickering glow across the dark space. I leaned in close, trying to decipher the inscription, but the letters were ancient and cramped together, their meanings hidden just beyond reach. When I woke, I felt an overwhelming sense that she had answered me. The torches, the whispers, the threshold — all felt like her way of saying yes, and that she was opening the way for me to step closer to her mysteries. If anyone has insight into the letters or words I saw — especially T or TH PHER or flamic/flamica — or if you’ve ever had a dream encounter with Hecate, I’d love to hear your experience.Hail Hecate.
